Ribu Temple, also known as "Langjie Bai Balin Monastery," is situated in Ribu County. It was established by Jiaqiongwa Qiongzhaba. The monastery boasts magnificent and spectacular architecture. It belongs to the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, with "Jue Miju" as its main deity and "Meilong Duo" as its guardian deity. Before the liberation, it had over 170 monks, and now has around 40. The temple was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution but was restored in 1985.
The monastery holds various large-scale religious events each year, but the most solemn is the Cham dance performed on January 1st of the Tibetan calendar.
