Memorial Hall of the CCP Central China Working Committee

A national AA-level tourist attraction, located west of Sheyang’s Houyi Park. Construction began in March 2006, and the hall was officially opened on May 12, 2007. The memorial covers a construction area of 1,400 square meters, modeled after the original “courtyard house” site of the CCP Central China Working Committee, featuring blue bricks and dark tiles. With the theme “Marching Toward Victory Under the Banner of the CCP Central China Working Committee,” it is divided into five exhibition halls. Through more than 200 meters of display lines, over 600 historical photos, and more than 100 cultural relics, supplemented by sculptures, oil paintings, lighting, sound, and other effects, the memorial showcases the glorious struggle and historic achievements of the CCP Central China Working Committee, led by Secretary Chen Pixian, in directing the armed resistance of the military and civilians in central China’s enemy-occupied areas, promoting land reform, organizing frontline support, and training cadres during that period. The memorial has become an important base for strengthening the ideological and moral development of minors and for conducting patriotic and revolutionary tradition education. In 2009, it was successfully rated as a national AA-level tourist attraction.
