Changpoling National Forest Park covers a total area of 1,075 hectares and is an important part of the urban green belt around Guiyang. It serves as a “green barrier” for both Baiyun District and Jinyang New Area.
It boasts the highest quality natural forest grassland in the entire southwestern region, with a forest coverage rate as high as 82.96%. Known as the “ecological museum” of Guiyang, the fresh air also makes it a natural “forest oxygen bar.” The park is divided into five scenic areas: Cherry Blossom Lake, Forest Lawn, DuXi Forest Farm, and two ethnic minority villages. Combining mountains, forests, water, grasslands, and historic sites, the park features landscapes that are serene, elegant, wild, expansive, and ancient. It is an ideal destination for leisure, vacation, science education, and outdoor activities.
