Dangdailika Mountain

Dangdailika Mountain - A Brief Introduction to Nujiang Tourism in Yunnan. Dangdailika Mountain is situated in the Dulong River area, west of the Gaoligong Mountain Range in Nujiang Prefecture, Yunnan. It stretches 72 kilometers in length, with its highest peak within Yunnan reaching 4,969 meters. The mountain range serves as the northern section of the China-Myanmar border, with its western slopes in Myanmar and eastern slopes within China. Many of its ridges feature cliffs hundreds of meters high, sheer rock faces, steep and rugged terrain that is nearly impassable. Dangdailika Mountain acts as a natural barrier for China’s southwestern border defense. The area is covered in dense primeval forests, with overhanging branches, thick layers of fallen leaves, entangled ancient vines, flower-strewn paths, roaring waterfalls, singing streams, the calls of wild animals and birds, roaming wild oxen, and a wealth of rare herbs and medicinal plants. It is rarely visited by humans and represents the best-preserved vegetation area in Nujiang Prefecture, Yunnan.
