Thurston Garden
Thurston Garden (Thurston Garden) is a beautiful garden situated between Albert Park and Government House in Suva, Viti Levu, Fiji. The garden features a clock tower, which was built in 1918 to commemorate the city’s first mayor. It is home to many rare plants and flowers. The vibrant lotus blossoms and other floral displays are made even more enchanting by the lush tropical greenery surrounding them. When a gentle breeze passes, ripples dance across the lake surface, sparkling in the sunlight—a truly captivating sight. Visitors can toss a coin into the fountain pool to make a wish. In the afternoon, locals love to stroll through the park to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time. Children play and laugh with innocent joy throughout the garden. Wandering amidst the densely wooded paths, colorful blooms, pristine lawns, and refreshing breezes, one feels as though entering a hidden paradise—everything here is pure and beautiful.
