Linqing Gate

　　 Linqing Gate is the west gate of Zhaohua Ancient Town. The name "Linqing" is a cautionary phrase, reminding officials appointed to govern in Zhaohua to remain clean and honest, with clean sleeves and an uncorrupted administration. Linqing Gate is not only the west gate of the ancient town but also the pass of "Jiameng Pass." According to expert research, it is the only place in China where a "city" also functions as a "pass." In other locations, the "city" and the "pass" are separate structures.
