Peach Blossom Island on the Nujiang River

　　   Peach Blossom Island is located in Zhatalong Village to the east of Bingzhongluo. Surrounded by the Nujiang River, it forms a peninsula shape and is covered with numerous peach blossoms, hence its name. The village still preserves the ancient folk tradition of the Peach Blossom Festival.

　　   Legend has it that before liberation, leprosy patients were confined here, earning it the name "Leprosy Island," and the First Bend of the Nujiang River was also called the "Leprosy Bend."
