Copacabana Beach is known as one of the most famous beaches in the world, stretching 4.5 kilometers along the coastline. With its azure waters, snow-white waves, clean and soft sands, and year-round pleasant temperatures ideal for swimming, it attracts an endless stream of visitors. Close to the shore, powerful waves constantly roll in, with blue troughs and white crests rising and falling, surging ashore again and again, creating a vivid, almost oil-painting-like scene in the sunlight. Colorful umbrellas and swimsuits adorn the beach in a dazzling array, while the sight of bikini-clad beauties is also a classic feature of Rio’s shoreline.
