The Jinggangshan Forest of Stone Tablets was first built in July 1987 and opened to the public starting from the Qingming Festival in 1989. The forest of tablets is composed of pavilions, corridors, naturally shaped stones, and other sections. It follows the terrain’s natural layout, winding and twisting in a uniquely charming way. The name “Jinggangshan Forest of Stone Tablets” was inscribed by calligrapher Shu Tong.
