The Strip, also known as Las Vegas Boulevard, is the most bustling street in Las Vegas. It houses the city’s most luxurious hotels (illustrated), casinos, restaurants, and shopping venues, serving as the soul and symbol of Las Vegas. The area sparkles with lights, offering a vivid glimpse into the world inside the casinos. Hotels along this boulevard are all open for free visits, and almost all have a casino on the ground floor where many guests come to play blackjack at night. Transportation
If taking a taxi, you must go to the hotel entrance; otherwise, even if you see a cab on the street and wave, drivers will not stop to pick you up. To travel along the street, you can take a bus for $2 per person per trip, or opt for the tram.
