Dachaoshan Hydropower Station

　　Dachaoshan Hydropower Station is located 5.5 km southeast of Dachaoshanxi Town and is the second million-kilowatt-class cascade hydropower station in Yun County. It has a designed maximum dam height of 120 m, a crest length of 571 m, a normal water storage level of 899 m, and a reservoir capacity of 890 million m³. After impoundment, the backwater length of the main stream extends all the way to the base of the dam at Manwan Hydropower Station. Once completed, the station will create another high-mountain, flat-water reservoir along with numerous scenic spots, further enriching Yun County’s abundant tourism resources and bringing more opportunities for the development of tourism.
