Jiang?Y Tea Garden
Jiang?Y Tea Garden is situated in Xiakou Town, southwest of Xixiang County, at the junction of Chengluo Road and Guansha Road. It lies 25 kilometers from the county town and just over 10 kilometers from the "Shahe" exit of the Shi-Tian Expressway. Since 2011, it has been one of the “Four Major Tea Gardens” prioritized for development by the county Party committee and government. The garden follows the concepts of ecological sightseeing, leisure vacation, tea experience, and wellness tourism. Its focus is on eco-tourism, increasing farmers’ income, and building beautiful rural areas, aiming to establish a provincial- and national-level modern agricultural park. It strives to become a modern rural tourism destination that showcases tea culture and countryside charm, integrates outdoor training, and covers tea planting and processing—combining tea industry development with eco-tourism. Covering a planned area of 15 square kilometers, the garden currently has over 20,000 acres of ecological tea plantations. With a total planned investment of 60 million yuan, it benefits four villages: Jiang?Y, Kangning, Baiyan, and Wenxi. Over 50 million yuan has already been invested, making it one of the first modern agricultural demonstration parks in Hanzhong City. Facilities such as tea garden viewing pavilions, rest corridors, scenic walkways, as well as water, electricity, roads, and tourism services, have been continuously improved. The development of the “Jiang?Y Tea Garden” scenic area is taking shape. The garden’s 10,000-acre expanse of pristine, high-quality tea fields offers breathtaking views in spring. Visitors are surrounded by rolling hills of tender green tea bushes, with distant views of lush trees, clear rivers, and mountain mists that create a scene reminiscent of the scenic south. Rated as one of China’s “Most Beautiful Rural Landscapes” by the Ministry of Agriculture in 2013, Jiang?Y Tea Garden attracts a constant stream of visitors from both within and outside the province. It has become a shining new calling card for the county’s tea industry.
