Dao Tiao Ling Scenic Area

　　The Qitai Dao Tiao Ling Scenic Area is situated on Che Pai Zi Liang in Ban Jie Gou Town, Qitai County, Xinjiang, nearly sixty kilometers from the county seat. It gets its name from the long mountain range and pointed peak, which look like a long sword lying horizontally. The area is famous for its pine waves, sea of clouds, and steep cliffs. The combination of cultural and natural landscapes makes it a refreshing and unforgettable destination.

　　The Qitai Dao Tiao Ling Scenic Area is divided into two waterways, with stunning views surrounded by mountains. The mountain range is graceful and elegant. In midsummer, when a gentle breeze sweeps across Dao Tiao Ling, beyond the dense primeval forests that blot out the sky, the endless grasslands and crops merge into a vast green ocean, making it hard to tell where the pastures end and the farmlands begin. Greenery embraces Dao Tiao Ling, and green seeps into every corner of it. Mountain flowers cluster around the area, their fragrance intoxicating the landscape. Colorful blooms—especially the vibrant alpine flowers—sprout from the swaying green grass like crimson clouds.
