Xiaoyedong Forest Farm

Ganzhou’s Xiaoyedong Forest Farm was established in November 1954, originally named Jiangxi Province Xiaoyedong Forest Farm. In 1959, it was renamed as Quannan County Xiaoyedong Forest Farm. Located 14 kilometers from the county seat, the forest farm covers a total area of 226,700 mu. It has been awarded the title of “Top 100 Forest Farms in China” for many years and is known as the “Pearl of the Green Sea.” The forest boasts beautiful scenery and a pleasant climate. From the high vantage points, you can see rolling peaks, serene mountains, and clear waters, along with occasional sightings of groups of wild animals and rare tree species that are little known to the public. The Xiaoyedong Tianpai Observation Deck is situated on a mountain peak over 1,400 meters above sea level. From the deck, you can enjoy the panoramic views of the bordering regions of Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces, as well as the landscapes of six counties and one city.
