The Tianxing Basin is located on the surface of the subsurface river in the Sancha River and along both sides of the river channel. This is a water stone forest landscape covering an area of 0.19 square kilometers, featuring naturally formed rocks of various sizes and water-carved stone basins. Winding stone paths run through rock walls, gullies, and crevices, meandering above the stone-edged basins. As you stroll along the path, there are scenic views wherever you look—above, below, front, back, left, and right—making it feel like a celestial paradise or an underground maze. Major attractions include BuBuJing (Step-by-Step Scene), YiXianShui (Thread of Water), KongLingShi (Ethereal Rock), Tianxing ZhaoYing ChangBiao Gorge (Tianxing Reflection Long Surface Gorge), CeShen Yan (Side-Body Rock), WaiShu Shi (Crooked Comb Rock), XunGen Yan (Root-Seeking Rock), YuanYang Teng (Mandarin Duck Vines), PanLong Tu (Coiled Dragon Picture), MeiNu Rong (Beauty Banyan), XiangBi Shi (Elephant Trunk Rock), Tianxing Lou (Tianxing Tower), and ChuYing ChuShan (Eagle Soaring from the Mountain).
Tianxing Cave Scenic Area
Located in the middle section of Tianxingqiao Scenic Area. Among the colorful and ever-changing bizarre peaks and rocks, four towering stone pillars rise straight to the cave ceiling, each over 20 meters high. The pillars are covered in clusters of stone flowers, intricately carved like dragons and phoenixes, in vivid colors. Major wonders inside the cave include the Grape Hall, filled with calcium carbonate gel formations resembling piles and strings of grapes; a cluster of stalagmites scattered across the flowstone terrace, looking like the “Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea”; as well as dripstones, cloud saucers, and cloud plates in striking colors and peculiar shapes, reminiscent of a “Heavenly Feast” with golden cups, jade bowls, fine dishes, and ambrosial drinks. In addition, there are formations resembling a “lotus pond,” the “Great Wall,” “snowy mountains and ice fields,” “terraced fields of a Miao village,” as well as depictions of “birds, insects, fish, beasts, flowers, trees, fruits, and vegetables”—all astonishingly lifelike, as if the world’s rarities and celestial wonders have all gathered here. These features make Tianxing Cave even more exquisite and magnificent.
