Shibei Stone Pillars of Dianbai
The stone pillars are located in Xiadong Town, Dianbai County. Some say they were built during the Southern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty, while others suggest their exact age remains undetermined. Starting from Xiadong and extending southward toward the seaside, there are nine pillars in total, spaced approximately 1 to 1.5 kilometers apart, arranged in an arc. Each pillar varies in height, generally around 4 meters tall, with a wider base that tapers toward the top. Three sides of each pillar are flat, while one side is curved — the arc facing the sea and the flat side facing toward Fushan. Next to one of the pillars, there is a buried stone boat, roughly 3 meters long, 0.2 meters thick, and 0.8 meters wide, with slightly upturned ends. It was carved from a single piece of stone.
