Xingxing Star Ski Resort

　　As a new highlight of winter tourism in Yanbian, ski tourism is increasingly favored by local skiing enthusiasts and domestic tourists. On the 19th, the Wangqing Xingxing Star National Forest Park Ski Resort, one of the larger ski resorts in our prefecture, officially opened to the public.

　　The Wangqing Xingxing Star National Forest Park Ski Resort covers a total area of 15 hectares. The first phase of the project has seen an investment of 13 million yuan, including five ski runs categorized into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, as well as separate snow tubing and snowmobile trails. The resort’s ski runs span a total length of 3,800 meters, with a vertical drop of

　　over 100 meters. It is equipped with a sightseeing cable car and one tow lift. The ski shop offers more than 1,500 sets of ski equipment in various sizes, and there are over 30 professional ski instructors available to serve visitors. It is one of the five larger ski resorts in the province. Since its trial operation began on January 10 of this year, it has been running smoothly, receiving over a thousand visitors on holidays, greatly meeting the skiing needs of enthusiasts; it has also enlivened the winter tourism market in our prefecture, enriched residents' outdoor winter activities, and alleviated the issue of “off-season” tourism in the region to a certain extent.
