Gonghui Sun-Cured Tobacco
Sun-cured tobacco is a traditional specialty of Pinggui Management Area and one of the high-quality tobaccos in Guangxi. The entire management area plants about 30,000 mu annually, yielding 3,500 tons per year. The leaves are thick-fleshed, deep yellow in color, richly oily, full-bodied, with a mellow and fragrant taste, producing white-gray ash and strong combustibility. It is mainly distributed in towns such as Gonghui and Shatian within the management area.
