Wudalianchi rice is a specialty of Wudalianchi in Heihe, Heilongjiang.

According to the characteristics of rice production at different periods in Wudalianchi City and records from the Dehui County Annals, the earliest record of rice cultivation dates back to 1935. The main rice varieties were introduced from Japan and Korea. During the period of the People's Communes after the founding of the People’s Republic of China (1949–1983), the rice planting area did not change significantly over these thirty-plus years. After the implementation of the household responsibility system in rural land in 1984, rice production saw a leap forward. Starting in 1985, new technologies such as greenhouse seedling cultivation in dry conditions and sparse planting techniques for dryland rice were introduced, successfully overcoming the challenges of high-altitude cold rice cultivation. During this period, the region also explored the cultivation of mineral water rice by utilizing the mineral water resources of the Shilong River and Shuangquan River. In 1994, Wudalianchi Mineral Water Rice won the Gold Award at the International Agricultural Products Storage, Transportation, Processing Technology Equipment and Product Exchange Exhibition; in 1995, it received the Gold Award at the Second China High-Tech Boutique Expo and the Excellent Product Award at the Third China Township Enterprises Export Products Exhibition; in 1999, it was honored with the Excellent Product Award for the 20-Year Achievements of Heilongjiang Province’s Township Enterprises.
