There are two ways to prepare Bumper Harvest. One is as a cold dish: after the Qingming Festival, gather local wild dandelion greens, along with homegrown green onions, small radishes, golden-yellow dried tofu sheets, and homemade soybean paste. Arrange everything in a serving dish — green, yellow, pink, brown, and white — what a vibrant picture of harvest abundance it makes. It’s juicy, flavorful, and leaves an endless aftertaste.

The other way is: wash the lettuce and place it in a dish; slice cucumbers and radishes into thick strips; chop scallions into sections. Arrange the cucumbers, radishes, and scallion sections on top of the lettuce. Mix the seasonings in a bowl, steam everything for 7 minutes, then remove from heat and drizzle with sesame oil, stirring to combine. The combination of seasonal vegetables is entirely based on your personal taste preferences.
