Yu Shu Qian Liquor
Yu Shu Qian Liquor is a protected geographical indication product.
Since winning the title of Famous Liquor of Jilin Province in 1974, Yu Shu Da Qu has repeatedly been awarded provincial and ministerial-level excellence titles, and was once recognized as a green food product by the state. In 1992, it won the Special Gold Award at the Paris International Exposition. Yu Shu Da Qu liquor, Yu Shu King liquor, and Yu Shu Baijiu were honored as Famous Products of Jilin Province, while Yu Shu Qian liquor received the titles of “Famous Liquor of Jilin Province” and Jilin Famous Product. The “Yu Shu Qian” series of liquors were rated as a Well-Known Brand by the China Association for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing. In October 2006, “Yu Shu Qian” liquor ranked first on the honor roll during the national liquor quality supervision spot check conducted by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China, and was also named one of Jilin Province’s Top Ten Brands. It was awarded the title of China’s Top 100 Industrial Enterprises in both 2004 and 2005, earning its place among China’s renowned liquors.
The production area of Yu Shu Qian Liquor (Yu Shu Da Qu) covers the entire current administrative region of Yushu City, Jilin Province.
