Zhuanghe Chicken

　　A dual-purpose breed. Originally from Zhuanghe County, Liaoning Province, also known as the Big-Boned Chicken. Physical characteristics: single upright comb, large body size, tall stature with a thick neck, deep chest and broad back, full abdomen, thick legs and long shanks. Roosters mostly have light red neck feathers, dark red saddle feathers, yellow breast feathers, red shoulder feathers, black main tail and sickle feathers with a greenish sheen; adult weight around 3 kilograms, with a maximum weight of 6.5 kilograms. Hens have rich plumage, with light yellow to deep yellow feathers on the breast and abdomen, yellowish-brown on the back, and black tail feathers; adult weight over 2.3 kilograms, averaging more than 146 eggs per year, with an average egg weight of over 63 grams.
