Seafood Menzi
Menzi is made from sweet potato starch jelly. Large pieces of the jelly are placed in a flat iron pan with a small amount of oil. Using a spatula, they are pressed into small chunks and slowly pan-fried over low heat until the outside is crispy. Once out of the pan, it is topped with stir-fried shrimp pieces, sliced sea snails, and other seafood, then drizzled with seasonings such as mashed garlic, sesame paste, soy sauce, vinegar, and more. The delicious “Seafood Menzi” is ready.
