Jellyfish skin
Jellyfish skin: Every July and August, jellyfish gather in clusters near Huludao’s coast. They grow rapidly, expanding to the size of an umbrella in just a few days. Local fishermen venture out to harvest them, treat them with alum, and press them into jellyfish skin. When used in cold dishes, jellyfish skin is not only nutritious but also crisp and refreshing, greatly stimulating the appetite.
