Transparent Green
A unique variety of fava beans found only in the Baoshan Basin, with a long history of cultivation. The “Transparent Green” stir-fried beans, processed using traditional methods, have a golden shell and a translucent green interior—hence the name. They make a crisp cracking sound when bitten into, and are light, fluffy, and delicious, making them a famous traditional snack in the area. Visitors from other places often take them back as gifts for loved ones. (Baoshan)
