Wengyuan Sugar Cane
Sugar cane is a type of cane whose bagasse can be processed into fibers for spinning and weaving cloth, used to make sugarcane board, paper, and also refined into alcohol, furfural, plastics, and more.
Sugar cane has a relatively high sugar content and is used as a raw material for sugar production; it is generally not sold for fresh consumption. Due to its tough skin and coarse fibers, it has a poor taste and is only occasionally eaten fresh in the producing areas.
