Lijiahu Mushrooms is a geographical indication certification trademark.

　　Lijiahu Town is located in the southwest of Wucheng County, bordering Dezhou-Shanghe Road to the east and adjacent to Xiajin County to the south. Covering a total area of 60 square kilometers, it governs 15 village communities with a population of 31,000 and 64,000 mu of arable land. It is a high-quality cotton planting base in Shandong Province and the largest edible mushroom cultivation base in China.

　　 Since last year, the entire township has closely followed the overall plan of “industrializing the county, enriching the people through industries, coordinating urban and rural development, and pursuing harmonious growth.” With determined efforts, innovation, and hard work, the township has achieved leapfrog development in its economy and society. The gross domestic product reached 982 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36.2%; local tax revenue totaled 5.968 million yuan, up 62.8%.

　　 First, achievements in attracting investment have been remarkable. Since last year, 16 key projects have been successfully introduced, including Kaidilan Textile Co., Ltd., Shandong Fudun Environmental Sanitation Equipment Co., Ltd., Dezhou Shunbao Edible Mushroom Co., Ltd., and the expansion project of Changsheng Cotton Textile Co., Ltd. with 50,000 spindles. Among them, two projects exceeded 100 million yuan, and six exceeded 50 million yuan.

　　 Second, progress in village consolidation and residential area construction has been outstanding. By prioritizing the merger of villages and the development of rural communities as key measures to accelerate the construction of a new socialist countryside, the total number of administrative villages decreased from 27 to 15, achieving the full consolidation of villages with fewer than 1,000 residents. Six village consolidation and residential development zones were launched, including Dongsheng Community and Lijiahu Community, earning the township the title of Advanced Unit in Village Consolidation and Residential Area Construction across the county. As a model site for whole-village relocation in the county, Dongsheng Community has completed 96 two-story villa buildings, with four high-rise residential buildings currently under main structure construction.

　　 Third, the edible mushroom industry has seen significant development. The “scale expansion and quality upgrade” project for the base has been vigorously implemented, earning recognitions such as “Advanced Unit in New Rural Construction with Small Mushrooms in Shandong Province” and “Top Ten Major Edible Mushroom Producing Base Townships (Towns) in Shandong Province.” Dezhou Shunbao Edible Mushroom Technology Co., Ltd. and Kaifeng Edible Mushroom Co., Ltd. have been successfully introduced, along with the construction of one fermentation plant, one spawn production plant, and 120 constant-temperature mushroom houses. The industrial chain has been further improved, and scale benefits have become more prominent. Sales contracts for mushrooms have been signed with 11 major supermarkets in cities such as Jinan and Qingdao, resolving sales challenges for mushroom farmers.
