Caoxian Cave is located in Caojiayu Village, about 30 kilometers northwest of Mancheng County. Legend has it that this is where Cao Guojiu, one of the Eight Immortals, cultivated Taoism and attained immortality—hence the name. The cave stretches 350 meters from north to south, reaches a maximum width of 30 meters from east to west, and is 8 meters at its highest point. It is a rare large limestone karst cave in North China. The entire cave wall is adorned with unevenly distributed stalactites of various sizes, creating a spectacular sight. There are numerous holes of different sizes and shapes on the cave ceiling that connect with the outside, keeping the air inside fresh and clean. Xiangyang Temple Also known as Sikou Temple, Xiangyang Temple is located in Sikou Village, 10 kilometers west of Wangkuai Town and 12 kilometers east of the county seat. The village was built during the Yuan Dynasty, covering an area of 3 mu. The main gate faces east, with 24 marble steps. On either side of the gate stand two large marble lions, each holding a white stone ball in its mouth—exquisitely crafted. Above the gate are inscribed three large characters: “Xiangyang Temple.” The roof ridge is adorned with delicate and elegant stone birds, while the red walls feature symmetrical floral patterns framed by ancient bricks. The temple follows a traditional quadrangle layout, with buildings constructed from brick and wood. The main hall has seven rooms, the south wing three, the north wing three, and the east wing three. In the courtyard stands a bronze bell, and beneath a tree lies a large stone turtle. Two large red wooden pillars in the main hall are wrapped with colorful dragons, each clutching a yellow snake—a vivid depiction. Inside the hall, Buddha statues sit cross-legged with intense gazes, exuding solemnity.
