Purple Clay Art Sightseeing Park

Kazuo purple clay is mainly used in daily necessities, handicrafts, and architectural ceramics. Known for its high quality and exquisite craftsmanship, it is popular across China and exported to over a dozen countries and regions, earning praise from tourists both at home and abroad. It has been included among Liaoning Province’s six major light industries and Chaoyang City’s top ten tourism industries. To achieve leapfrog development of the purple clay cultural industry, Kazuo County has planned and constructed a Purple Clay Art Experience Park, focusing on projects such as a Purple Clay Cultural Park, logistics base, shopping center, artisan workshops, skills training, hands-on simulations, ancient kiln visits, and tea art demonstrations. The aim is to build a distinctive “Kazuo Purple Clay” brand.

The Northern Capital of Purple Clay is a key tourism project in our county. Not only does it integrate the research and development of purple clay products, purple clay craftsmanship, and purple clay culture as an important industrial initiative, but its completion will also significantly enhance the attractiveness and diversity of our county's tourism offerings. It will boost the visibility and core competitiveness of purple clay as a signature tourism product, having a profound impact on the future of our county’s tourism industry.
