Wolfling Ridge Scenic Area, a national AA-level tourist attraction, is located in Erzhangzi Village, Wolhugou Township, Kazuo County. It currently covers a total area of 30,000 mu. The scenic area features numerous mountains, dense forests, and crisscrossing valleys. Among its Thirty-Two Gullies, each offers unique scenery with extraordinary peaks, lush forests, and deep grasslands. The area is rich in basic mineral resources, including dolomite mines, purple clay soil mines, and other mineral deposits, providing an excellent foundation for the development of handicraft products. The surrounding area boasts abundant tourism resources, with a forest coverage rate exceeding 80% and 40,000 to 200,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter of air, making it a natural oxygen bar—an exceptional natural condition for developing eco-tourism. The scenic area plans to develop projects such as a forest trekking experience zone, a painting and photography base, a Mongolian cultural area, a water park, a health and wellness food base, flower fields, and an ecological agriculture demonstration park.

Targeting customers in the eastern and northern regions, the scenic area radiates across the national market for cultural and ecological vacationing. It aims to create an open resort centered on the themes of “pristine nature” and “carefree exploration,” with tourism products such as “rural forests,” “flower sea landscapes,” and “summer retreats” as its main selling points. Leveraging the area’s convenient road and rail transportation, it is positioned as one of the key tourism projects in Kazuo County. The development of the scenic area is expected to drive economic growth in surrounding towns and help local villagers achieve shared prosperity.
