Shuiquan Lush Flower Sea, located in Shuiquan Town in the northern part of Kazuo County, is 25 kilometers from the county seat. It lies on the alluvial plain of the Da Ling River and Niuhe River, facing Wulan Heshuo Township and Shengli Township of Chaoyang County across the river to the east, bordering Yangjiaogou to the south, adjacent to Ganzhao Town to the west, and touching Gongyingzi Town to the north. Provincial Highway 207 and Huashi Line run through the entire area, and it is 10 kilometers from the train station, 12 kilometers from the entrance of the Changshen Expressway, and 15 kilometers from the high-speed railway station of the Beijing–Shenyang Intercity Railway, offering convenient transportation. Shuiquan Lush Flower Sea is developed under the leadership of the Shuiquan Lush Land Shareholding Cooperative. The project covers a total area of 320 mu, including a 160-mu strawberry picking base and 160 mu of planted flowers, establishing a rural tourism destination that integrates sightseeing, fresh fruit picking, dining, and entertainment. The Lush Flower Sea boasts beautiful scenery and a pleasant environment, highlighting themes of ecology, leisure, nature, and simplicity, with a strong rural natural charm. The scenic area mainly features a “Flower Sea Viewing Area,” “Dining and Leisure Area,” “Folk Culture Area,” and “Agricultural Product Sales Area,” along with a “Hundred-Meter Windmill Corridor” and a “Hundred-Meter Luffa Trellis.” The dynamic melodies, elegant visual spaces, and colorful flowers create a strong visual impact through large banners and bold color blocks, giving visitors the unique feeling of “touring a heavenly paradise.”

In July 2016, to develop and strengthen the collective economy, the Shuiquan Village Party Branch established the Kazuo County Shuiquan Lush Land Shareholding Cooperative under the leadership of the village collective, enrolling 81 households and 324 people, and hiring a professional manager for operations. The village collective holds 62% of the shares, the villagers hold 27%, and the professional manager holds 11%. The cooperative adjusted the agricultural industrial structure by leasing land, clarifying the development strategy of “specialized planting, scaled development, and ecological economy.” Through scaled management, it built a rural tourism base to achieve both economic and ecological benefits, increase collective income, lift villagers out of poverty, and realize a win-win of economic and social benefits.

Shuiquan Lush Flower Sea was first built in April 2017 and opened to the public in mid-July. The flower planting combines manual sowing with water-saving drip irrigation, featuring four main varieties: Cosmos, Sulphur Cosmos, Cornflower, and Zinnia, each covering 40 mu. These four sections are arranged in neat rectangular formations, responding to one another. From afar, the endless sea of blooms resembles a world or ocean of flowers. A 1,000-square-meter dining and service area has been constructed in the core of the flower sea, capable of accommodating 200 people for relaxing, dining, singing, and resting. Here, surrounded by the flowers yearning for admiration, with the breeze caressing your face and melodious songs in the air, you’ll feel as if you’re in a heavenly paradise.

Shuiquan Lush Flower Sea is located on the north side of Section Shuiquan of Provincial Highway 207 (Dabei Line), 300 meters north of the Shuiquan gas station. Since being listed as a key rural tourism project in 2017, under the guidance and support of municipal and county leaders, the Shuiquan Town Party Committee has adhered to a combination of “rural tourism and ecological economy development.” With scientific planning and integrated funding, and with full participation from the community, over 10 million yuan has been invested in recent years to significantly enhance infrastructure and ethnic-themed construction, completely transforming the village’s appearance.

Shuiquan Lush Flower Sea plans to build a leisure, sightseeing, and picking garden spanning 300 mu with a variety of offerings. It will include themed orchards, special flower gardens, science education classrooms, fruit culture exhibition centers, high-tech exhibition areas, and parent-child farming experience zones.
