The land for Xianliang Temple was granted at the foot of Hutou Peak. There were originally two pagoda courtyards here, commonly referred to locally as the East and West Pagoda Courts. Only the East Pagoda Court remains today. The East Pagoda Court houses two stupas, which were completed in the autumn of the first year of the Republic of China. The eastern stupa is about 7 meters tall and is the stupa of Monk Lü; the western stupa is about 8 meters tall, but its finial is missing, and it is the stupa of Monk Minggong. The two stupas face south and are arranged from east to west, both being Tibetan-style stupas. To the east of the pagoda courtyard stands a complete traditional siheyuan courtyard house, known as Xianliang Hall.
