Bell Lake Tourist Area — a national A-level tourist attraction, located on the northeastern shore of Bell Lake, a border lake between China and Mongolia, within the territory of BERSU. Covering an area of over 600 acres, it is 100 kilometers from the banner government seat, Altan Emel Town. Bell Lake faces Mongolia across the water and is abundant in fish species such as carp, catfish, and whitefish. It is celebrated both domestically and internationally for its “Bell Lake All-Fish Feast.”

Bell Lake Silver Coast

Bell Lake is hailed as one of China’s most beautiful border lakes. Stretching approximately 40 kilometers in length and 20 kilometers in width, it covers an area of 628.78 square kilometers, most of which lies within Mongolia, with only 40.26 square kilometers in the northwest belonging to China. The area boasts beautiful sandy beaches, the boundless Mon Tala Grassland, lush green forests, and the legendary scenery formed by the ancient Urson River connecting the sister lakes of Hulun and Bell. It also features rich and colorful ethnic cultures, making it an ideal summer retreat destination.

The scenic area offers a 300-meter-long swimming beach, a multi-functional log cabin hall suitable for conferences, entertainment, and accommodation, Russian-style wooden villas, and multi-functional halls in traditional Mongolian yurts that reflect ethnic characteristics. These facilities can accommodate over 500 people for dining and entertainment. Visitors can enjoy ethnic activities such as horseback riding, wrestling, archery, and riding a wooden cart (leleche), allowing them to experience the unique charm of a natural bathing beach, savor the Bell Lake All-Fish Feast, and immerse themselves in the traditional culture of the Barag ethnic group — making it an ideal travel destination.
