Tuofeng Tianchi

Located 72 kilometers from Chaihe, the Moon Town, and 700 meters from the Xing'an League border, it lies 8 kilometers north of Tuofengling (elevation 1,314 meters), hence the local name "Tuofengling Tianchi." The volcanic crater is elongated in a northwest direction, measuring 800 meters in width and 1,200 meters in length. The crater holds water with a relatively large surface area, averaging 300 meters in width and 800 meters in length, covering an area of over 200,000 square meters. The water surface sits at an elevation of 1,275 meters, and its depth is unknown. Viewed from above, the lake resembles the shape of a left human foot, and patches of submerged forest can be faintly seen within the water, creating a mysterious and unique landscape.
