Hainan Qiongya Column Headquarters Former Site Sightseeing Park, located in Maogui Administrative District, Maoyang Town, Wuzhishan, Hainan Province, is about 20 kilometers from Wuzhishan City and 2 kilometers from Maoyang Town in the direction of Ledong. It has a superior geographical location and convenient transportation. Covering an area of 600 acres, it is one of the six major revolutionary base tourism sites in China and also the first park in Hainan themed around patriotic education, integrating sightseeing, vacation, and leisure services for both local and out-of-province visitors.

The park centers around two cultural themes — "revolutionary base" and "Li and Miao ethnic customs" — promoting the revolutionary spirit and showcasing the outstanding traditional culture of the Li and Miao peoples. It allows people to cherish the good life of today while commemorating martyrs and heroes and appreciating the revolutionary achievements of their predecessors; it enables visitors to enjoy the green mountains and clear waters, be immersed in the beauty of nature, and at the same time receive patriotic ideological inspiration.

Maoyang Town: Maoyang Town is located at the intersection of Haiyu Highway and Maojiu Highway, covering an area of 236.5 square kilometers with a population of 15,000. It is a well-known old revolutionary base area and was once the site of the former headquarters of the Qiongya Revolutionary Column. The town’s leading industries include tropical fruit and cash crop cultivation, mineral and starch processing, as well as hydropower production. Currently, there are two medium-sized cement manufacturing enterprises, one starch processing plant, and two hydropower production facilities within the town. The planting area of various tropical fruit and cash crops such as mangoes, lychees, longans, bananas, rubber, and betel nuts exceeds 40,000 acres, and development is moving toward base-oriented and specialized directions...
