Movie scenes of garden parties have sparked a trend that’s now catching on in Taiwan. The newly opened “Yue Garden” sits atop Yangmingshan, featuring a panoramic landscape terrace overlooking the mountains and a semi-open garden courtyard. It also offers complete indoor private space rentals. Skip the karaoke, dining crowds, and holiday traffic — gather a few friends and rent the whole place for a party up in the mountains.

“Yue Garden” is located on Jing Shan Street in Yangmingshan. Its most distinctive feature is the M-shaped landscape terrace that extends prominently among the mountain ridges, with unblocked views of Wuzhi Mountain and Ewei Mountain directly ahead. Owner Ms. Yang shares that during full moons, you can even watch the moon rise quietly from the mountaintop opposite, while rainbows and mountain mists create breathtaking scenery — a true hidden paradise.

The downstairs area is a semi-open garden where every plant was carefully grown by the owner couple over the course of more than a year. Guests can enjoy the mountains, listen to the wind, watch the eagles, and rediscover their tranquil souls amid nature. Beyond fun and play, there are also many lesser-known hiking trails nearby for exploration.

The owner noted that Yue Garden spans approximately 120 ping (around 396 square meters). Aside from Karaoke, guests who want to BBQ can use provided gas stoves, tableware, and water dispensers. Those who prefer not to cook can also opt for catering services. To maintain quality, the owner recommends a maximum of 30 people, with pricing based on full venue rental — starting at NT$500 per hour on weekdays. Ideal for family gatherings, friend meetups, garden parties, and even photo shoots.
