The Guizikeng Park is located in Daoxiang Li, Beitou, Taipei, covering an area of about 10,000 pyeong. Originally a kaolin mine, it was later transformed into a leisure park after slope land development. Its stunning mountain-lake scenery captivates visitors and draws large crowds.

The Guizikeng Soil and Water Conservation Education Park features Taipei’s oldest strata. Exposed rock walls contain abundant kaolin ore and quartz sand. The upper layer consists of igneous rocks erupted 800,000 years ago from the Datun Volcano Group, while the lower layer is composed of folded strata formed by the tectonic pushing of the Wuzhi Mountain Formation. This geological landscape is exceptionally unique and rare.

Next to the park, there is also a forest bathing wooden boardwalk. The trail guides visitors through the ancient strata landscape of the Wuzhi Mountain Formation, as well as slope vegetation areas and lattice frame slope protection zones. For groups of 20 or more, you can apply to the Bureau of Construction for a volunteer guide to gain deeper insights into the historical development of the strata.

On the way to the hiking entrance, streams accompany you along the path. Once you enter the trail, all you see is lush greenery. As you climb higher, the stream flows into the valley, and the dense forest creates a forest bathing atmosphere—like walking through a verdant woodland, where every breath is filled with phytoncides, helping you forget all the worries of daily life.
