The Toutaiao Tourist Resort is located in Toutaiao, 22 kilometers from the government seat of Hangjinhouqi. Established in 1996, it covers a total area of 100 hectares, including 53 hectares of water area, 40 hectares of sandy land, and 6 hectares of woodland. The resort is surrounded by lush trees and vast farmland, and enjoys a good ecological environment. It integrates desert, lake, and Hetao farming landscape, featuring a rich combination of resources. Its main attractions include the close proximity of sand and lake, cool water bodies, and pristine sandy areas, offering visitors distinct experiences such as swimming and sand bathing. Guests can also take a boat ride on the lake to admire the surrounding scenery and relax. Additionally, they can enjoy naturally grown green food or stay for a day or two to unwind.

The resort has been equipped with offices, guesthouses, Mongolian yurts, parking lots, docks, pavilions, a lakeside bridge, swimming changing rooms, lounges, zodiac sculptures, and dance halls. It has also purchased cruise ships and motorboats, offering a full range of recreational facilities. Activities available include boating, swimming, fishing, and beach volleyball. The resort is 15 kilometers from National Highway 110 and is easily accessible from both Linhe and Hangjinhouqi. On average, it receives 350 visitors per day and generates an annual tourism income of 250,000 yuan.
