As the first privately-run museum in Shenzhen, it is the world’s only thematic museum that systematically collects, displays, and studies ancient Chinese celadon. It is also the first private celadon museum with the largest number of celadon pieces from both China and abroad, the most comprehensive range of types, and the most complete collection system. It is the largest private museum in China and one of China’s top ten folk museums.

The museum systematically houses over 1,000 typical celadon artifacts from various dynasties in Chinese history, spanning from the Shang and Zhou periods to the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties — a period of more than 3,000 years. It also features over 2,000 ceramic shards from major famous kilns, covering more than 20 dynasties across a span of 3,500 years.
