This time, Ouyang Xu and his fellow cyclists are taking the southern route of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, traveling from Chengdu along National Highway 318 to Lhasa—a total distance of 2,166 kilometers, expected to take 20 days. The journey involves crossing two mountains over 5,000 meters in elevation and ten over 4,000 meters, as well as traversing turbulent rivers such as the Dadu River, Jinsha River, and Lancang River. Yesterday, the reporter conducted a phone interview with Ouyang Xu. He said that besides enjoying the beautiful plateau scenery along the way, he will also bring some stationery to give to local children, spreading the seeds of love on behalf of Luohu volunteers.
