Qingqing World is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Qingqing World is a sightseeing farm themed around leisure and vacation, and is one of the “Ten Scenic Spots of Pengcheng.” The park covers an area of approximately 200,000 square meters, and features various scenic areas including Jurassic Park, Butterfly Valley, Melon and Fruit Garden, Pottery Workshop, and Horticulture Pavilion. There are also European-style wooden villas, hotel guest rooms, a Chinese restaurant, a swimming pool, a fishing pond, and more.

The park offers a variety of recreational activities such as pottery making, fishing, candle carving, hand weaving, Chinese knot crafting, urban farming, making Tangshan color-glazed prints, and batik dyeing—all fun and great for developing hands-on skills. In addition, visitors can enjoy other facilities including a foot health trail, thrilling suspension bridge, juice bar, Butterfly Valley, tea house, and barbecue area.

Qingqing World provides guests with fully wooden semi-mountain resort cabins and sea-view hotel rooms, all furnished to four-star standards. The park’s restaurants mainly serve Taiwanese and Cantonese cuisine, along with business set meals and fast food options.

The Melon and Fruit Park in Qingqing World grows a variety of ornamental and edible fruits and vegetables, among which snake gourd, pearl tomato, bottle gourd, and large pumpkins are the most distinctive. The giant pumpkins at Qingqing World are imported from the U.S., cultivated using soilless and drip irrigation techniques to overcome the challenge of crop rotation in melon plants, growing up to 3–5 pounds per day. The large pumpkin in the photo titled “Come Help Me!” held by a child weighs over 160 pounds—it was grown during the 1997 “My Pumpkin Is Heavier Than Me” event at Qingqing World.

The “Urban Farmer” plot in the Melon and Fruit Park offers visitors a chance to personally experience rural life by tilling their own land. A 2-square-meter plot rents for 480 yuan for 3 months. During the rental period, a family of three (two adults and one child) can enter the park for free at any time with the lease to tend their plot. When the produce is ripe, pick it to enjoy at home—it's a uniquely satisfying experience.

Tropical Rainforest

The first attraction at Qingqing World is the tropical rainforest, known as the “Lungs of the Earth.” The “Tropical Rainforest” is shrouded in mist and boasts fresh air. Throughout the rainforest, you’ll find insect-eating plants, color-changing lizards, tree-climbing frogs, as well as massive banyan trees and exotic flora. Visiting here gives you the feeling of traveling back in time to a paradise on Earth. The park houses 200-plus-pound arapaima fish from the Amazon River, which resemble mermaids in size. You can also walk through the rainforest and cross the Rainbow Bridge, where a dazzling, kaleidoscopic rainbow will amaze you.

Jurassic Park

The Jurassic Park, adapted from the novel of the same name by American author Michael Crichton, is extremely popular in the U.S. and widely known. It received three Oscars including Best Visual Effects at the 66th Academy Awards for its groundbreaking and thrilling visuals. At Qingqing World, a miniature version of Jurassic Park has been created, featuring cement-cast creatures resembling “dinosaurs” hidden among the bushes, exclusively for visitors to explore. When you visit Qingqing World, be sure to come discover the mysterious Jurassic era and get up close with the dinosaurs.

The Butterfly Farm showcases the entire life cycle of butterflies—from egg to larva, pupa, and adult. To allow visitors to see colorful butterflies year-round, the park uses artificial temperature control to maintain an optimal 27.5°C—the perfect environment for butterflies to dance 365 days a year. Teachers and students from the “Forest Elementary School” use the Butterfly Farm as an outdoor classroom, arranging guides to explain the butterfly life cycle to elementary and middle school students during field trips and extracurricular activities, helping them easily learn about butterflies.

Many farms or resorts have pottery workshops. Ceramics are known as the “art of fire and earth”—artworks made from “ancient soil with fresh flame,” representing one of humanity’s oldest crafts. Qingqing World’s Pottery Workshop demonstrates the pottery-making process: clay refining, wheel throwing, trimming, glazing, and firing—and offers visitors the chance to create their own pieces (90 yuan per adult, 65 yuan per child), experiencing the romantic art of pottery. The showroom displays exquisitely crafted pottery pieces by Qingqing World’s artisans, reflecting everyday ceramic artistry. Feel free to try making your own or take one home.

Transportation – Bus:

There is no direct bus from Shenzhen Railway Station. Two options are available: 1) Take the subway from the station to “Window of the World” Station, then transfer to Bus 42 at the subway connection point to go directly to Qingqing World; 2) Take Bus 215 from the station to “Lianhuashan Park” Station, then transfer to Bus 350 at the same station to go directly to Qingqing World. Option 1 is recommended.

From Nanshan or Shekou Port, take Bus 210 directly to “Qingqing World Station.”
