Happy Line

The Happy Line is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Happy Line is a world-class driverless elevated sightseeing train introduced by OCT Happy Valley Tourism Company in Shenzhen. Spanning a total distance of 3.88 kilometers, the train travels at a constant speed above the OCT Tourist Resort area, and it takes approximately 25 minutes to complete a full loop.

An unprecedented visual experience — along the route, visitors can not only enjoy aerial views of human landscapes such as Shenzhen Happy Valley, Window of the World, Splendid China & China Folk Culture Village, Venice Hotel, OCT Hotel, Sea View Hotel, China Arts Centre, and Eco-Square, but also reach the shores of Shenzhen Bay, where they can gaze out at Shenzhen’s Binhai Boulevard and the nationally protected natural landscape — the Mangrove Forest. Across the vast waters of Shenzhen Bay, you can also take in the “satellite city” of Yuen Long in Hong Kong’s New Territories and the majestic Shenzhen Bay Bridge. Transportation by bus:

From the train station: Take Sightseeing Bus Route 1 (ticket price: 2 RMB, full fare 5 RMB), or Route 101 (starting from 2 RMB, full fare 8 RMB)

From the airport: Take Route 327 directly, and you can get off at Window of the World, Splendid China & China Folk Culture Village, or Happy Valley

Taxi:

Taking a taxi from the train station costs around 50 RMB

Taking a taxi from the airport costs around 70 RMB

Metro: Take Line 1 and get off at the “Window of the World” station, then exit via Exit I or Exit J. Ticket/Opening Hours 1. Full fare ticket for boarding at stations outside Happy Valley: 40 RMB per person; half-price ticket: 20 RMB per person;

2. Full fare ticket for boarding at the Happy Valley-Street Station: 20 RMB per person; half-price ticket: 10 RMB per person.

After purchasing a ticket, visitors can ride the Happy Line multiple times within the operating hours of the day. Except for the -Street Station, passengers can get off at any other station to visit attractions, and can board again with the same ticket without additional charges (only applicable to the ticket holder; not applicable to passengers boarding at the -Street Station).
