Wenshan Lake

There are five isolated small islands in Wenshan Lake, each with its own distinctive features. Centered around Shuangfeng Island, the 4,900-meter-long reservoir area is divided into two parts; Shuangfeng Island is 500 meters long and 250 meters wide. On the eastern side of the island, due to the change in terrain, it strikingly resembles a giant eagle swooping toward the water surface, hence symbolizing "an eagle striking the water." On the western shore of the lake, there is a 700-meter-long small island, with its top that extends into the water being 250 meters wide, while the part near the shore is only 50 meters wide. It resembles a giant python descending from Bailong Mountain in the northwest to drink water, with a lifelike shape, known as "python drinking water." Among Shuangfeng Island and Snake Head Island, three small islands of the same shape and size are evenly distributed in the east, west, and north directions in the lake, resembling three turtles floating on the water surface playfully fighting with the python drinking water—this can be called "turtles and snake playing in the water."
