Kirin Villa (Reception, Conference, Leisure, and Entertainment Center) is an important reception base of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Municipal Government, tasked with hosting visiting leaders of the Party and the state in Shenzhen, while also serving various sectors of society. The villa is located at the foot of Qilin Mountain in the northwest of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, surrounded by the Xili Golf Course and Wildlife Park, offering an elegant and tranquil setting with beautiful scenery. Covering an area of 380,000 square meters with a built-up area of 26,000 square meters, it consists of five villas and one comprehensive building forming a well-spaced, garden-style architectural complex that blends modern and traditional styles with a fusion of Chinese and Western elements. Each villa is fully equipped with high-quality, top-tier services and offers complete functions for tourism, vacationing, and leisure entertainment. Though each villa is independently designed with secluded pathways, they are also within view of each other, creating a landscape where each building complements the others. Lush green lawns, beautiful trees, shimmering lakes, and mountain views wash away the hustle and bustle of the city, providing a serene haven on earth. With its uniquely charming pastoral scenery, European-style architecture, high-end luxurious decor, fully equipped facilities, and five-star service standards, Kirin Villa has become the premier venue for high-level conferences and leisure vacations.

During the initial construction phase, to ensure that all projects and facilities met advanced technical standards and high quality, the Shenzhen International Tendering Center publicly tendered on behalf of Kirin Villa. After analyzing and studying the engineering plans for the villa’s multifunctional hall and conference system, and leveraging its own strong technical capabilities, Aogo Enterprise won the bid.

On the second floor of the villa’s conference building, there is a spacious multifunctional hall, measuring 30 meters in length, 22 meters in width, and 6.16 meters in height. The purpose of the multifunctional hall is to serve both as a meeting space and for banquets, entertainment, and more. Therefore, the arrangement of lighting and audio equipment had to be ingeniously designed to meet various needs. Lin Zhuolin, the person in charge of engineering design and installation at Shenzhen Aogo Engineering Company, stated that a great deal of effort went into the design and construction. It was essential to not only meet the high standards set by the municipal government but also to take into account the exterior decoration and the professional effects of lighting and sound. As a result, many aspects required very careful consideration and meticulous attention to detail.

For example, in terms of sound, four OHM “Aomiao” LM15 speakers were hidden inside the columns on the main wall of the hall. To ensure seamless integration with the overall hall decoration, multiple sets of white speaker stainless steel mesh covers were specially custom-made to conceal the speakers. The entire sound system included a total of 10 LM15 full-range speakers and 6 LM218 subwoofers, some of which were set up according to mobile performance requirements. All speaker sockets were distributed across the floor of the hall, with different usage positions pre-designed so that whether the hall is divided into three smaller functional rooms or used as one unified space, everything could be handled with ease. The video system used multimedia technology, intuitively projecting images through a touch screen and main unit of the central control system, with two projectors, two cameras, and multiple audio sources centralized for control. For lighting, German-made JB-LIGHTING was selected.

VARYSCAN 19 units, were mainly installed on the ceiling at the front of the hall. Using motorized lifting rigs, the ceiling can be opened when needed, and four rows of lights can be slowly lowered. In addition, there were two custom-designed mobile lighting carts, each equipped with 8 units, totaling 16

JB-LIGHTING VARYCOLOR 6 units. All cables and signal lines were connected to a main socket on the cart. By simply pushing out the light cart and connecting it to the hidden lighting sockets on the floor, the system could be used immediately. Through precise testing with professional audio equipment and computer programming of lighting sequences by expert technicians, the overall audio and lighting effects of the multifunctional hall met and even exceeded the owner’s original design, satisfying the requirements for versatile use.

Shenzhen Kirin Villa is one of the important projects of the Shenzhen Municipal Government. Within the villa, there are multiple conference centers, among which the largest and most comprehensively equipped is the “International Conference Center.” The center has 600 seats arranged in a small-theater tiered format. The sound system uses the British OHM “Aomiao” MOON series—six units at the stage front, two at the back of the audience seating area, four full-range speakers, and four subwoofers. The entire venue is equipped with an RCF simultaneous interpretation system, capable of translating four different languages simultaneously.

Mr. Lin Zhuolin stated that although this project took a lot of time and effort, the ultimate success and recognition from the client were the most rewarding outcomes. At the same time, the audiovisual and lighting project at Kirin Villa also marked a new starting point and higher aspirations for Aogo Enterprise in terms of engineering technology.
