Shenzhen Tanglang Mountain Country Park

Tanglang Mountain Country Park is located in the northeast of Nanshan District, Shenzhen. To the south of the mountain lies the Pingnan Railway, to the north are Beihuan Avenue and Longzhu Avenue, the western end terminates at Honghualing, and it stretches eastward into Futian District. Established in January 2005, the park covers a total area of 100,000 square kilometers and is a premier destination in Shenzhen for 360-degree scenic hilltop views.

Tanglang Mountain Country Park features a natural landscape framed by mountains and waters, highlighted by its scenic beauty of forests, springs, wildlife, and plant life. It offers visitors a chance to connect with and appreciate nature while enjoying leisurely hikes and elevated vistas. From the mountaintop, you can look north to see Xili Reservoir, Changlingpi Reservoir, Yangtai Mountain, and the Shenzhen Safari Park. The park attracts numerous hiking enthusiasts with its tranquil, profound, and majestic ecological environment, inviting them to immerse themselves in nature.

With its deep valleys, dense forests, and abundant water sources, Tanglang Mountain boasts rich biodiversity. Rare plant species discovered here include: Alsophila spinulosa, a critically endangered first-class nationally protected plant; Cycas fairylakea, a first-class nationally protected plant; Ixonanthes chinensis, a third-class gradually endangered nationally protected plant; Aquilaria sinensis, a second-class gradually endangered nationally protected plant; and Cibotium barometz, a second-class nationally protected plant.
