Shenzhen Sihaipark

Sihaipark is located at No. 6 Gongyuan Road, Nanshan District, Shenzhen. It was first built in 1987, covering a total area of 135,710.39 square meters, with an investment of 30 million yuan that year. Since its opening in 1987, it has been continuously improved year by year, with new attractions, artistic sculptures, a children’s playground, clubs, cultural tea houses, bookstores, and other cultural facilities. It has become a cultural park for leisure and entertainment for the residents of Shekou District.

About half of Sihaipark is covered by water, complemented by various flowers and plants, vast lawns, lychee orchards, and groves of green bamboo, providing visitors with delightful scenery. Major attractions in the park include the Overwhelming Golden Bull, Spring Water Pool, Secluded Path in Shade, and Waterside Pavilions.

The park features a famous giant statue of the Overwhelming Golden Bull, so large it looks more like a building than a sculpture, with a fiery ball on its back, standing fiercely in the center of Sihaipark. Beneath the small bridges and flowing streams lies a natural fishing spot, making it a great place for angling. The park has also laid out a row of unconnected large stones across the fishing area’s water, spaced just enough to step across. Sihaipark also offers teahouses, bars, and boat rides, with quite a few boats docked at the pier — a perfect opportunity to paddle around with friends for a delightful experience. In short, elegance and refinement define the character of Shenzhen Shekou’s Sihaipark.
