Shenzhen Nanshan Litchi Forest Park is located at No. 45 Yanhu Road, Nanshan District, at the northern foot of Da Nan Shan. It is enclosed by Qianhai Road, Dongbin Road, and the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Western Corridor, covering an area of 513,390.8 square meters. The main entrance is next to Taizi Mountain Villa on Qianhai Road, and the north entrance is near the Nanshan Party School on Dongbin Road. It is an open, free public park. Litchi Forest Park was completed and opened to the public in late 2008. Its primary focus is on protecting the century-old lychee tree clusters within the park and showcasing natural ecology. Based on functional zoning, it is divided into five scenic areas: Lakeside Mountain Scenery, Forest Leisure, Cultural & Sports Center, Litchi Forest Ecology, and Urban Boutique. The hiking entrance to Da Nan Shan is located within Litchi Forest Park.

The construction of Nanshan Litchi Forest Park fully reflects the spirit and cultural essence of Nanshan. Guided by the principle of preservation-oriented development, it retains the original century-old lychee trees and takes natural landscapes as its theme. Respecting nature and adapting to local conditions, the park has been redesigned and shaped in harmony with the site’s foundation, making rational use of natural resources such as soil and vegetation. The result is a comprehensive urban leisure park suitable for metropolitan Shenzhen. The park is also famed for producing the long-renowned “Nanshan Lychees” with a rich history—including varieties like Nuomici, Guiwei, Fozixiao, Heiye, and Huai Zhi.

The park not only protects every ancient lychee tree but has also built an extensive network of walking paths. Upon entering Litchi Forest Park, the brick-paved walkways complement the ancient lychee trees, creating an elegant and rustic charm that evokes a sense of seclusion along winding paths. Strolling through the lychee groves feels like entering another world—a paradise reminiscent of a heavenly hideaway. Here, the air is fresh, offering a true sense of intimate connection with nature. Free from the hustle and bustle of the city, it provides a feeling of spiritual return. Only here can one truly grasp the essence of a life well-lived.
