Universiade Torch Tower Plaza

The torch tower is located in Shenzhen Bay Park, extending the central axis of the Spring Cocoon Sea Gate. It faces Shahe West Road and borders the mangrove forest. The plaza mainly consists of the torch tower, a water pool at its base, a U-shaped memorial area, and other elements, adding cultural significance to Shenzhen Bay Park.

The main components of the first phase included plaza paving, a central water pool, landscaping, and benches. In the coming year, the Municipal Public Works Bureau will focus on the second phase of construction, which includes plaza floodlighting, a torch simulation device, plaza environment upgrades, themed sculptures, display and utilization of the torch cauldron, as well as the construction of a pedestrian overpass across Shahe West Road.
