The Tiezai Mountain Tomb Cluster is a cultural relic protection unit of Guangdong Province.

Tiezai Mountain Ancient Tomb Cluster: A cultural relic protection unit of Guangdong Province, located on the southern slope of Tiezai Mountain in Chentian Community, Xixiang Subdistrict, Bao’an District. Since 1983, cultural relics archaeologists have successively carried out rescue excavations at the foot of the southern slope of Tiezai Mountain, unearthing over 130 ancient tombs from the Han Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including a Eastern Han tomb dated “the fourth year of Xiping” (175 AD), and a number of important cultural relics were discovered. Starting January 22, 2000, rescue archaeological excavations were conducted in Areas A and B of the Tiezai Mountain Ancient Tomb Cluster, covering an area of 2,300 square meters. A total of 224 tombs from the Eastern Jin Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties were cleared, and more than 300 burial objects were unearthed. This tomb cluster features a large number of tombs, dense distribution, a long and wide historical span, diverse tomb structures, and rich contents, providing important physical materials for the study of ancient burial customs and the political, economic, and cultural development of the Bao’an area. In November 2008, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Guangdong Province by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province.

Chentian Community: Chentian Community is located in the northeastern part of Xixiang Subdistrict Office, bordered by Fenghuanggang Community (Qianjin 2nd Road) to the east, Hexi Community (Xixiang Overpass) to the south, Longzhu Community (National Highway 107) to the west, and Fuhua Community (Horticulture Garden) to the north, with a total area of 2.5 square kilometers.

Most residents moved to the area during the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties. By the end of 2013, there were 678 registered residents and 35,000 temporary residents.
