Former Site of the Dongbao Administrative Guidance Office: A cultural heritage site under the protection of Bao’an District, located at No. 6 Yanchuan North Lane, Yanchuan Community, Songgang Subdistrict, Bao’an District. Originally built during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty and renovated in 2001. It faces southwest from a northeast orientation. The building was originally the Zepai Chen Ancestral Hall of Yanchuan Village. The structure follows a two-row layout, with the right row consisting of a single bay and two courtyards. The central row features three bays, two courtyards, and one skywell. The total width is 19.5 meters, the depth is 20.7 meters, and the area is 403.65 square meters. The building has a brick-and-timber structure with plain brick walls. The stone plaque above the central entrance is inscribed with “Zepai Chen Ancestral Hall.” It also includes stone eave pillars, moon beams, uniquely shaped stone lion brackets, and stone spandrels. The roof truss combines both through-tenon and post-and-lintel styles. It has a flush-gable roof, grey plastered antique-style ridges, red roof tiles, and green glazed tile ornaments. During the Anti-Japanese War, this building served as the office of the Dong (guan) Bao (an) Administrative Guidance Office. Preserved spaces include the offices and residences of Tan Tiandu, the head of the guidance office, among others. In 2001, it was restored and converted into the “Bao’an Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall.” In March 1999, it was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Bao’an District by the People’s Government of Bao’an District.
